More agility

Hi Friends;

I went to another agility trial this weekend, just on Sunday (the trial started on Friday). I ran 2 runs and ran clean in my first run. The second run was a bit of a mess, but I was pooped. Between the long drive to the venue and being in a new environment, I just didn't have the focus I needed for the last run. Mom totally understands, she was pretty pooped too by the end of it. We're both still newbies and we did not have our coach or other agility buddies there this past weekend to help work through some of our trial jitters. It was a good experience though and I have a pretty new ribbon to add to my collection...

Our next agility trial is in January. It seems like a long way off but Mom says January will be here before we know it! I better get practicing! I only need one more Starters Standard Q to get my Agility Dog of Canada title!

Successful Sunday

I participated in my 3rd agility trial this weekend. It was fun. I ran in two classes, starters standard and advanced jumpers. I had two clean runs and two first place finishes. My Mom is very proud and so is the rest of my family. I don't have a video of my advanced jumpers run yet but I will post it in the near future.

Practice makes perfect

Last weekend I attended a "just for fun" agility trial and before that started I had some time to practice agility in a different setting with my Mom. It was nice to practice on someone else's equipment and in a new place with different smells. Next weekend I will participate in my third agility trial (but only my 3rd and 4th runs!!). I am entered in 2 runs, Advanced Jumpers and a Starters Standard run (Mom is away Saturday so we could only enter in Sunday runs- otherwise I might be doing 4 runs). I have been working diligently on contact equipment and weave poles during my practices and Mom was particularly proud of me following my last agility class where I proved to her and my instructor that I am more than ready for standard runs!

My Hike- by Boomer

Hello;

I wanted to post about the hike I went on today with my Mom and some other people and dogs. We left early this morning to get to the woods before too many other people started filling up the trails. I love to go hiking. Peanut comes hiking with me but only if it's just the two of us. She knew there were going to be a few other bigger dogs with us today so she did not come. A couple of the dogs don't have good spatial awareness, and my Peanut is tiny. She does not appreciate getting pushed around on narrow hiking trails.

Anywho, I had a great time with my other doggy buddies. It was a great day for a hike! Please enjoy the photos I have attached. I only attached two as Peanut warned me that Blogger was being testy with photos today.

The Best Time of the Year

We are having a fantastic weekend here where I live--Boomer and I love the Fall. The weather has been just fabulous for us canines. I am enjoying having my family home for the long weekend, playing lots of fetch, going for walks, and eating extra treats (there are beef necks thawing in the fridge as I post this for Boomer and I...Wooo!!!).

Blogger is not cooperating however. I tried to post a few photos at once and it would not let me. Below you will find only one photo of me taken today while out playing Chuck-It with Mom. Boomer wanted to post photos of his outing this morning but he will have to post one or two in a separate post.

Fall Walk

I tried to upload some of the photos from our Fall hike last weekend, but Blogger would not allow it. Tonight I tried again...

Last weekend we went for a hike in the woods...Weeee! We went hiking again today but we did not take photos. I love this time of year. It is so refreshing!

Boomer wore his back pack and carried water for Mom and Dad and him and I. He also carried poop bags. Carrying a bit of load did not seem to slow him down one bit. He even went for a swim in the river with his pack on!

The ride home from the walk is so different than the ride there. I am much more "chill" on the way home. On the way there I have a hard time containing my excitement... I squeal in the car when I get excited (It drives Mom and Dad NUTS!). Does anyone else squeal/scream in the car?

I hope you all had a great weekend. I'm looking forward to next weekend--It will be Canadian Thanksgiving!...Yeah for long weekends!!!!!

My second agility trial

So I competed in my second agility trial this past weekend- I ran one run, a Starters Jumpers run. I received another 1st place ribbon and I also got a "Q" (it was a clean run, under time).

That's pretty much all the excitement I had this weekend. Please enjoy the video below of my run!

Mom and I have been really practicing my weave poles and contacts so I should be pretty ready for standard runs come November- fingers crossed!

Here are a couple of photos my Mom's sister took of me with her fancy camera when I visited PEI in June.

I particularly like this action shot of Mom and I on the beach.

And here's one of me and my favourite ball (Chuck-It Whistler ball). I only lost one of these balls this summer...or rather, Mom lost one. I now have three balls (previously I had 4 of them). Mom threw one of these balls in the river and unfortunately they do not float, not even for a short time- the ball immediately sank as soon as it touched the water.

I have to use another ball I don't like as much when I play fetch in the water.

I had fun in PEI. I hope to go back next summer.

I love long weekends

I love long weekends. Thursday night we went to the park by our house to hunt squirrels, yesterday we went to the school to play fetch and today we went to the school again to play fetch! I wonder what we'll do tomorrow??!

Peanut's First Agility Trial

Above is the video from my first agility trial. I won first place in my class (16" regular- Starters Jumpers) and received a red ribbon for this accomplishment. I also had a qualifying run (I earned point toward my Agility Dog of Canada (ADC) title) and received a large red and white rosette for this accomplishment. Mom was super proud of me. We are hoping to enter our next trial in September. I need to work on my weave poles in the meantime!

On June 4th Boomer turned one year old. He has been acting somewhat more mature since turning one year old...

On June 11th, I turned three years old. To celebrate our birthdays, Mom and Dad took us on a nice hikes the weekend of my birthday- we went on two hikes that weekend (Saturday and Sunday). So much fun!!

Here is a photo of our birthday breakfast: Boomer had kibble with a few cookies and I ate my meat with STEAK on top!

Fetch at the Park

One of my favourite things to do is go down to the park near our house and play fetch with a stick or with my Chuck-It. I love to run as fast as I can. Boomer can really run too. It's fun to see who can get to the stick/ball first!

Weekend Hike

This past Friday was a super nice day and both Mom and Dad were off so we all went for a hike.

Here is Boomer after we stopped for a snack and a drink ...
We had to to make sure we stopped and had a drink and snack every few kilometres...
We walked just over 20 Kilometres ...that's about 12.5 miles. We were tired after our hike and slept very very well Friday night.

The snow is melting, slowly but surely. This weekend it is going up to 6 degrees celsius ! I am looking forward to the spring, Boomer too, but Mom and Dad are not looking forward to the mud that comes with the thaw...

In other news, pancakes were on the menu for last weekend's Friday morning breakfast...

Boomer really wanted to try the batter...

He waited so patiently but never did get to have a pancake.

My Nanny was here to visit a couple of weeks ago, Boomer and Nanny and I did a lot of this... as well as lots of walking!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend...almost!

Hello!!

I am so excited. Today is the start of the Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. Mom is off today and doesn't go back to work until Tuesday!!

We are keeping busy here....

This past week Boomer graduated puppy class. I guess he's smart, but certainly not as smart as me!

Last weekend we had a professional pet sitter visit our house for the first time while Mom and Dad were at a wedding. That was cool. She fed us and took us for a couple of walks.

We also had a visitor for a few days a couple of weeks ago, Mom's Dad. It was nice to meet him. We went on some nice walks and he took professional photos of Boomer and I! (That is what he does for a living- take photos). Speaking of which, here are some photos from the last few weeks...

No subject. These are just some random photos from the last couple of weeks:

Boomer LOVES water! I'm going to bet Mom and Dad 10 bullysticks that he will be a toilet drinker when he gets bigger... Gross... He even tastes his own pee now after he goes outside- that is weird!!!

See that nice camo leash Mom ordered for Boomer before he arrived at My house?? It's gone! He chewed it right in half when Mom thought he was enjoying one of his first bullysticks!! You'd think Mom would stop giving him bullysticks because of this and save them all for me because I am such a good dog who never chews things she is not supposed to.

New Brother

As I eluded to in my last post...here is the guy that has been keeping us all extra busy. He's only been here just under one week but he is fitting in nicely with my family. His name is Boomer and he is 9 1/2 weeks old. He is a Brittany.

We have been getting used to each other the last few days. I don't always like to share my toys but I am learning. I hope to post more photos of me and my new brother soon.

I must apologize for my absence... again. It's all Mom's fault. She is the one who helps update my page! A lot has been going on here lately so I am going to try to illustrate the events of the last couple of months with some photos...

Pyper and I helped renovate the bathroom for the first 3 weeks in July

The weather was pretty excellent in July too (for us dogs), cooler than normal Julys here in Southern Ontario. I spent more time than usual outside because of this...

My new gate!! Now I can enjoy my back yard even more without being on a lead or Mom and Dad having to watch my every move.

Because it has been pretty busy the last few weeks I have needed my beauty rest!

Hi there;

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I wanted to share a few photos taken recently...

I have been playing fetch with Dad a lot this month as he is doing research. He gets to spend lots of quality time with me!! Lucky!

I have been going on hikes when possible on the weekends. The water is starting to warm up a bit.

Agility is going well. I have to remind Mom to bring my water bottle though with the weather getting warmer.

I celebrated my 2nd birthday this past week. Mom and Dad are taking me camping next weekend to celebrate!

Busy Nut

Hello Buddies;

I know I have been MIA for a while. I have been one busy girl and have not been getting much quality computer time. Between obedience classes, agility classes, and my Nanny visiting, the days pretty much fly by. Oh yeah, and Mom had her wisdom teeth out last week so I had to hang out with her too and make sure she was okay. She's pretty much recovered now. Me, Nanny and Dad are good nurses.

Hello Friends;

It is Friday and my Mom is home with me now for 4 days! She took today as a vacation day to make this weekend an extra-long weekend. Folks here in Ontario have Monday off for Family Day. I love long weekends because they mean extra cuddle time and playtime with Mom and Dad!

The Letter P

Coco the Puggle tagged me to play the letter game. "You pick just one buddy from your list and you give them a letter. They must then list and describe 5 things beginning with that letter." Coco gave me the letter "P"! How fitting, "P" is for "Peanut"....here we go":

1. Parents: I love my parents. They feed me, take me for walks, buy me cookies and toys and snuggle with me. What more could a girl ask for?

2. Presents: It is always exciting when my birthday or Christmas rolls around. That means extra goodies and fun surprises.
3. Pyper: Pyper is my favorite kitty. We get along like two peas in a pod. We play chase, wrestle and snuggle by the vent. She is wonderful. Pyper will soon be getting a present because her Gotcha Day is coming up this month (February 19). She has been living with Mom and Dad for 2 years!
4. Peanut Butter: I do not have a photo of this delicious treat. I love when Mom or Dad puts some of this sticky goodness in my Kong. I also love Peanut butter flavored treats...Maybe I am biased towards this flavor because my name is Peanut??

5. Play: I love, love, love to play. Today I went to play in the park near my house. The weather was just fantastic. The snow is starting to melt just a bit and was the perfect consistency for making SNOWBALLS! I just love to catch snowballs!!!

Now it is time for me to pass this game along to one of my other friends. I am going to tag Ruby to do the letter "R"!!

My Favorite Spot and the Bone

Hello Furry Friends;

If you follow my blog, you have seen other pictures similar to the one of me below. This is my favorite spot in the whole entire house...(next to the Big Bed)- it's my pillow right next to the vent. The vent has been really pumping out heat lately. I just can't get enough heat, especially with the cold temperatures we've been having lately. Because of the cold temperatures, my walks have been shorter than normal some days which is sort of sad. On the up side though, I'm getting to play some fun games indoors, like lazer chase and with my Tricky Treat Ball and Mini Leos (I now have two Leos so that they can be stuck together and that makes it is a bit more challenging to get the treats out).

On Saturday (another really cold day!), Mom and Dad went to the market and brought me back this to keep me entertained for a little while...

A fantastic BONE from one of the local markets! Unfortunately the bone experience was short lived. Mom and Dad were careful not to let me chew too long on the bone so as not to cause an upset tummy. Regrettably, early Saturday morning Mom and Dad woke up to two separate upset tummy incidents which I will not go into detail about...No more bone for me. I spent the next two and a half days getting my digestive system back in order. Thanks to some yummy pumpkin I am feeling much better!

Hello everyone;

I'm back from a mini vacation with Mom and Dad. Sorry I have not been visiting you or posting lately. I should be back in the swing of things soon. I thought I would share some pictures from my recent snowboarding trip to Western NY...

And last but not least...

My kitty, Pyper, went to work yesterday with Mom for the first time ever... Mom's work is in a big old house with many offices. One of the offices has a fireplace (not working)...Pyper decided she wanted to play inside the chimney or something like that...she did not tell us yet what she was up to or why she got so dirty!! Mom and Dad spent an hour with her in the tub and she is still a pale shade of grey (and orange). Other than being a bit discolored, she is doing very well.

In the photo below she is looking a bit upset. Mom put her in the bathroom before her bath so that she did not mess the house.

Christmas Goodies

Here I am with the treats Pyper and I received from our Family on the East Coast. Pyper is really interested in her organic crunchy treats and I can't wait to get my paws on a bully stick! Auntie M. helped me add another toy to my collection. This one is a turtle. Mom and Dad love it more than the cat I got from her last Christmas because it doesn't squeak nearly as loud.

Pyper loves her organic kitty treats and when she's done of those she can't wait for the Temptations too!

Ahh, bully sticks, one of my favorite things in the whole wide world!

Mail for Me!

On Friday I got a surprise in the mail from Bruschi!! How fabulous is that?!

Unfortunately Mom's camera battery died only a couple of shots into me opening my surprise...

"What do you mean there is something wrong with the camera?? Hurry and let me open my treat!"

Waiting (very patiently) for my treat...it was a very yummy Christmasy rawhide treat! This is where the camera batteries died. Thank you so much Bruschi!

Mom took a couple of pictures of me and my new toy I got for Christmas from one of Mom's friends...I haven't even eaten him yet! I play nicely with him and make him squeak, squeak, squeak!!

Happy New Year Everyone (Furry and not so furry)!! Mom and Dad arrived home last night and brought Pyper and I lots of goodies from our Family on the East Coast (Thank you Nanny, Cousin Lou, Auntie M., Uncle M. and Thomas!!). I am going to be away for the next week with Pyper visiting our Grandparents while my parents are away visiting my Mom's family on the East Coast. I will not get around to visiting my blogging friends but I will catch up when I get back home.

Yesterday I went to the park to play frisbee with Mom and Dad. They were trying out their new snowshoes. I guess snowshoes help them to stay more on top of the snow...I think I need a pair too!

This time last year

Last year, Mom and Dad were crazy enough to buy me a pair of boots! Boots?! I hated them and they did not stay on despite tightening the velcro straps. Here are a couple of shots of me in the boots that Mom and Dad returned the following day...

Now I wear other protection on my toes to protect them from the cold and salt on the icy roads. Do any of you who live where there is snow wear boots?

Tuesday Tails

Hello;

I don't have a whole lot to say today but I did not want you to forget my fuzzy face.

This past weekend I had a couple of trips to one of my favorite dog parks to meet up with some friends. Then, on Sunday, Mom and I went to visit one of my potential Christmas vacation accommodations. Mom and Dad are flying to the East Coast for 6 days to see Family there... Anywho, we drove almost an hour in the car to see this place. I got to meet a few doggies that I might be rooming with, but after much hmm-ing and ha-ing, Mom decided to look into another accommodation closer to home. So my room is booked and now all I need to do is pack...I will need a blanket, a toy, some treats...and I can not forget my FOOD!! There is still lots of time though for packing- Mom and Dad don't leave until Christmas day.

So other than that not much is going on here. I did start my Christmas list to Santa Paws though. I am asking for:

Treats
Food
Bully stick(s)
an Antlerz
a small squeaky toy chicken
and treats for my kitty Pyper

Hello Friends;

It's a quiet day today here at my house. Dad is on-call (working all day and all night) and Mom is home with me, but the weather outside was not ideal for going for a longer walk or to the dog park so I didn't do a whole lot of exciting stuff. I did manage to find this fun toob-type toy but it did not taste as good as a bully stick or banana...

...

I chewed on it until the end got a bit soggy and then Mom took it away and threw it in the recycling bin...

That is all... I did go on a bit of a walk in the snow/rain this evening but it was so wet it would not have been safe for Mom to bring out her camera. These are all of the exciting photos I have to share today. Hopefully it will be nicer tomorrow and I can do something really fun outdoors.

Laundry Day

Yesterday Mom did laundry and washed my bed. My bed comes apart into 4 pieces (a round donut shaped pillow, a flat pillow that fits inside the donut, and covers for each of these pieces). Mom washed the covers and the flat pillow but did not wash the donut shaped pillow. She left it on the big bed and I found it and decided to have a nap in it after the dog park. I love my bed!

Trick or Treat?!

Hello Everypup! Happy Halloween!! Look what Mom came home with today...the pet store was giving out doggy loot bags and she brought one for me! I got a ghost cookie, some chewy treats and a couple of other biscuits!

I will do many tricks for these treats!

Speaking of tricks...this new toy also came home with Mom. It's called a Tricky Treat Ball...

Boy, there must be a trick to get the treats out of this ball!

Winter? Already??!!

Oh My Dog!! I woke up this morning to this...

White, wet, cold, snow! It's been so long since I last saw this white stuff, but I feel it is here much too soon.

Snow, snow and more snow!

It snowed here off and on all day and the power even went out and stayed out for a few hours so it was chilly in my house. Luckily Dad didn't see Pyper in my house when he put me back in after lunch. She helped to keep me warm.

I am keeping my paws crossed that this snow is gone by tomorrow!

I had a visitor this weekend from the East. My Aunt came to visit. Not one of my furry relatives but an Aunt of the Human kind. She spent Thursday through Sunday with me and now she is gone...

Changes

You might have noticed that my blog does not look the same as it did yesterday. I tried to change the look of it by adding a fancy template and that failed dreadfully...I ended up loosing all of my lists (blog buddies, favorite things) and my pet Panda... Mom has been helping me put everything back in place and we decided to opt for new fall/Halloween colors! Change is nice sometimes. I'm not sure I'm liking the recent change in temperature though...This morning it was -1 degrees outside when I went for my morning pee... I've been trying to find the warmest place in the house since then. Under the covers is good and cozy.

New Toy

How long will the Monster survive? Well right now I have eaten off one of his ears, I am working on ear #2, and I have only had him in my possession for 10 minutes... I love stuffies. I still wonder why Mom doesn't buy me more of this type of toy instead of Nylabones and rubber toys...

Long Weekend

So we're back from Clover's city (Ottawa). Unfortunately there was no time to meet up with her. We were jam packed with wedding stuff and visiting all of Dad's friends. Maybe next time Clover and I can have a play date if Mom and Dad are more organized!

I enjoyed my trip a lot. Mom and Dad thought I behaved well for most of the trip. I think they would take me away again like that for sure. I got to do lots of walking and play with lots of new human friends.

The trip was quite exhausting... Here is one of the two pictures Mom took of me while I was away. This was taken after a trip to one of the dog parks. Mom and I found one on one of our walks along the Rideau Canal.

In other news, I got a new fall sweater...Yeah, and I said before I don't really wear clothes that often... Mom just had to have this one...

Maybe it can double as a Halloween Costume??!

Anywho, Mom just said the special word... "Supper"... I guess I better go!!

PS- My annual trip to the Vet went well. He thought I looked good. He gave me treats when he poked me and told Mom and Dad to not let me eat too many treats so that I can keep my figure just the way it is. As long as Mom and Dad don't have to cut back on my treats I guess I am okay with this comment.

I heard Dad talking on the phone to one of his friends who lives in Ottawa (Clover's City). He mentioned my name during the conversation, and then he talked with Mom about taking me in the car this weekend when they go to Ottawa! How exciting! My first real road trip. I have not spent more than 2 hours in the car before! What should I pack for the long ride??

On a more somber note, tomorrow is my annual trip to the vet... I will let you know how it goes. Mom tells me I should relax and reminded me I get a treat when I go there. I love treats!

Chill in the air

So, as I mentioned in my last post, it is finally Fall here in Ontario. Mom and Dad have turned the heat on and I am back to my post in front of the vent in the living room. Mom and Dad seem to think they must take pictures when kitty and I chill together. Mom did not have her camera on hand so she used her cell phone, hence the lower quality shots.

Because I wasn't blogging this time last year, I thought I would also share a photo of me in my very first coat. It was taken about this time last year. Mom thought it was cold enough outside I needed a coat in October- mind you, I was only a wee pup, barely four months of age. At what temperature do you pups start wearing your Fall/Winter coats and sweaters (if you wear coats or sweaters at all)??

It is beginning to feel a bit more like Fall here. The days are certainly getting shorter! I don't really go on nearly as many early morning walks. Mom seems less motivated in the mornings to go walking because it's dark now at 6:30am... Now I mostly just get evening walks. Before you know it it will be sweater weather...

Cottage Adventure

Hi! I just got back from a weekend at a cottage. I got to go on a mini vacation with Mom and Dad! I had lots of fun but unfortunetly Mom took Dollar Store batteries with her to replace the old ones in her camera when they died (on our first day at the cottage). Mom should have known better, but the Dollar Store batteries did not let her use her camera the rest of the trip. I hope she learned from her mistake.

Above is a picture of me before we left for the cottage. I was feeling a bit anxious about Mom and Dad packing the luggage. Last time they packed their luggage, only a few short weeks ago, they left me for 9 days!!

I liked the cottage a lot. I played pretty hard though and ran lots on the beach so I was one tired pup.

I enjoyed suntanning on the patio at the cottage. I also suntanned on the beach...can you tell?

Hot and Rainy

It's hot, humid and rainy here this weekend. I spent a lot of time on the couch, watching t.v. but did manage one medium size walk around the neighborhood per day so I wasn't a total lazy pup. Last night I went for bubble tea with my Mom and Dad too just to get out of the house. We all needed an outing.

I know I have showed you how I relax before, but I am so good at chilling out I thought I'd share some more of my favorite relaxing positions from this weekend.

I usually like to be touching somebody when I relax, sleep etc. Here I am with Dad while he catches up on some medicine reading. I rarely have to take medicine, besides my yearly vaccines and heart worm stuff...I am glad.

Pyper relaxed too. She basically took over my house all weekend. I should be charging her rent. I hope she doesn't get kitty cooties on my Kong!

Sunday Fashion Show

So yesterday I spoke of my dog clothes. I thought I would show you my fall and winter wear. I wear these duds in the wintertime when it gets pretty cold out, or if it's raining. At the top, you see me sporting my winter walking coat. I have one fleece coat too in a similar style (but with no reflectors) but it is somewhere in the basement in Mom and Dad's snow clothes bin.

I do have one special piece of clothing that is more for fashion/show than for practical purposes...

My Senators jersey!! (Ottawa Senators- that's Dad's favorite hockey team) I am not allowed to wear this when the Senators are not playing well though.

And here I am in my rain coat! I sure need this one today! It is pouring out. I am not sure if I will get my walk in today. I will keep m paws crossed that the rain stops by this evening or at least stops coming down so heavily.

Lazy

Today I am lazy. It's very "Blah" outside (cloudy, threatening rain). I am content on the couch.

I forgot to mention that Mom and Dad brought me another souvenir from the trip last week-- A new collar to add to my wardrobe. It was made in Squamish, BC. Mom and Dad got it when they were driving back to Vancouver from Whistler.

Mom doesn't dress me in many dog clothes, although I do have a couple of winter coats and a rain jacket...practical stuff. She prefers to purchase accessories (i.e. collars) to show off my personality and style.

Pyper got a matching one too but she would not let Mom take a picture...silly cat.

Home Again

I'm back from my vacation at my grandparents. I am glad to be back home with my Mom and Dad, although I did have a good time at my grandparents place. They have a big back yard that I can run circles in over and over and over again. So that is what I did while my parents were away. Below are some pictures from their trip to British Columbia.

They stayed in Vancouver for the majority of the trip...but they also spent 4 days in Whistler, BC...Look at what they did while they were in Whistler!

Mom and Dad walked another Furkid! Her name is Shadow and she is staying at the Humane Society there. In whistler, visitors and local residents can drop in to the Humane Society and walk a dog for an hour or two. I hear Shadow had fun. It would have been nice if I could have met her. Mom and Dad said they were missing me a lot so walking Shadow was a good distraction.

This is my souvenir! It's a 3 foot long bully stick :)...I have already started working on it

I am tired from all of the excitement since Mom and Dad arrived home. I believe it's time for a nap.

Vacation

Mom leaves tomorrow for the long weekend to visit this place.

She is going to visit another dog- my cousin, whom I have also never met though we correspond by email. He is much larger than I I've been told.

Swimwear Model

Hey Buddies; Unfortunately Mom and Dad both forgot to bring their cameras this weekend on my first trip to the pool! Can you beleive that? I swam in my new life jacket and on my very own without it too. I played fetch in the pool with a ball and with a stick. The pool is a very fun place to be on a hot day like yesterday. I'm going to recommend Mom and Dad put in a pool :)

Neighborhood Watch

Happy Saturday Everypup;

One of my favorite things to do is watch the neighborhood from the front window. I am a good watch dog most of the time. The couch is just the right height so I can see out the window and monitor all that goes on on our street. My job mostly entails keeping those crazy squirrels in line!

Sometimes my job as neighborhood watch dog is slightly boring (we live on a tiny street with only a few houses)...Sometimes, (don't tell anyone!) I rest on the job...

It's been hot here the last few days. I mean really hot. It makes me think of taking a dip. I've technically never "swam", but I do enjoy lounging in the water. My cousin Lou is an expert swimmer. It's in his genes though. I'm not so sure it's in mine...

Hello again! I was abandoned this weekend by my parents. They went to Ottawa for something called a wedding. I had company though and someone to feed me so I was okay I guess.

Yesterday Mom and Dad got home. No, they did not bring me any treats!! Can you imagine?! They left me for 3 days! I was still happy to see them when they got home. You can see me giving my mom a big wet puppy kiss!

My House

This is me in my house. I go here when Mom and Dad go out. Yes, I am one year old now but I still go to my house each time I am left alone. I enjoy going to my house because each and every time I go I get a cookie in my Kong. At my last obedience session, I learned to go to my house on command and wait there until Mom says "Your Done!"

Can I have a cookie now??
